We are currently seeking a skilled class 2 multi-drop driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Drive vans or lorries to transport goods to different locations
- Load and unload heavy items, ensuring they are securely fastened during transit
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Perform commercial driving duties in adherence to road safety regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid commercial driving license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact with warehouse personnel and clients
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
