The successful candidate will support the partners in providing a range of Accounting and Tax services to the firms’ clients. This will include:

  • Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Preparing draft corporate tax computations.
  • Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services.
  • Ensuring that the accounting records for clients are maintained accurately and are kept up to date.
  • Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns and MTD ITSA returns.
  • Complying with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • General administrative duties to provide support to the partners and other employees within the office.

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

  • A good work ethic.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in online accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
