The successful candidate will support the partners in providing a range of Accounting and Tax services to the firms’ clients. This will include:
- Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Preparing draft corporate tax computations.
- Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services.
- Ensuring that the accounting records for clients are maintained accurately and are kept up to date.
- Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns and MTD ITSA returns.
- Complying with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- General administrative duties to provide support to the partners and other employees within the office.
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
- A good work ethic.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in online accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
