Senior Product Managers at Creditstar enjoy tremendous scope and responsibility. They will work at the core of multi‑disciplinary teams that operate with autonomy and initiative to build and improve products that have demonstrable positive impact on our customers’ lives. The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make it your business to understand what our customers actually care about and build a strategy to help them reduce anxiety over money and feel more in control of their finances.
- Lead customer development and understand what’s happening in the market. Overall, you’ll know more about our customers than anyone else in the business.
- Building and analyzing/monitoring customers journey/sales funnel with the latest third party tools.
- Work with the Chief Product Officer to set the long‑term vision and strategy for your Product.
- Own one or more products across one or more countries.
- Work with the Product Marketing team to create a feasible and viable roadmap to acquire and retain customers.
- You are hands‑on and enjoy producing clear and concise requirements (user stories) with detailed acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Product Designers, Country Leads and Collection teams to build amazing customer experiences.
- Own overall product roadmap priorities and work very closely with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of the product features.
- Once the products/features are live you will track and constantly communicate your product strategy to all the relevant participants and stakeholders and ensure everyone’s on the same page.
- You will define what success looks like and continuously monitor core metrics for your product in the country you are leading.
- You will balance qualitative insights with quantitative insights and validating hypotheses with users.
- Present product performance in internal meetings.
- Use 3rd party tools for product development.
- Execute customer development related activities (collect info about customers opinion on our product and services) and implement changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience with owning and scaling consumer lending products.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well with a diverse team (internal and outsourced) and knowledge how to get things done.
- Ability to listen, ask questions and easily put yourself into the shoes of our customers and internal teams.
- You are able to come up with a good plan to get things done. Make sure we roll out impactful features fast.
- We’re data‑driven and back up projects with data and follow through to make sure they’ve resulted in big customer impact.
- Ability to produce quality product requirements while working closely with the product designers and other product managers/leads.
- Cooperation skills to work closely with other Product Managers and business functions like Engineering, Country Management, Collections.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a product in a globally distributed environment and working in a product‑led company.
- Self‑motivation and comfortability to drive ambiguity to clarity.
- Highly organized way of work and ability to navigate through conflicting priorities while balancing customer values and business needs.
- You’re not afraid to say ‘No’ on priorities and able to explain your reasoning.
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Confluence and other flowcharting tools.
