We are partnered with the Digital Assets Investing arm of a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund, which is looking to hire a
Fin Tech & Digital Assets Equity Analyst into a newly established investment team in London.
This is an opportunity to join a directional long/short equity strategy at an early stage, working alongside experienced investors and leveraging proprietary insights generated by the firm's Macro, Quantitative Research and Data Science teams.
The Role
- Conduct fundamental research across the global Fin Tech and Digital Assets ecosystem.
- Generate high-conviction long and short investment ideas.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and industry frameworks.
- Meet regularly with company management teams, industry participants and expert networks.
- Collaborate with Macro, Quant and Data teams to enhance idea generation and portfolio construction.
- Contribute directly to portfolio performance within a highly collaborative investment environment.
- Candidate Profile
- 2–8 years' buy-side or relevant sell-side equity research experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Fin Tech, Payments, Financial Infrastructure, Exchanges or Digital Assets ecosystem.
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills.
- A demonstrable passion for investing and public markets.
- The ability to develop differentiated, fundamental investment views.
- Prior long/short hedge fund experience is advantageous but not essential.
