Mondrian Delta is working with a multi-billion dollar global hedge fund, looking to add to its Emerging Markets Equities team. The business is hiring an Analyst to trade EM names with a mandate to include all regions and sectors, with a bias towards LATAM and CEEMEA Financials. The firm has a strong, multi-decade track record across equity and macro strategies and is recognised for its disciplined investment process, sophisticated infrastructure, and collaborative, meritocratic culture.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to alpha generation within a well-resourced and intellectually rigorous environment, working alongside some of the industry’s most accomplished investors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental, bottom-up research across emerging market equities, identifying both long and short investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
- Develop differentiated investment theses supported by original analysis and deep sector insight.
- Monitor portfolio positions, key catalysts, and macroeconomic trends impacting EM markets.
- Work closely with portfolio managers on idea generation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- 3–7 years of experience in equity research or investing, ideally within emerging markets or global long/short equity strategies.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capability, with a demonstrated ability to generate high-conviction ideas.
- Deep understanding of company fundamentals, industry dynamics, and valuation methodologies.
- Independent thinker with sound commercial judgment and intellectual curiosity.
