A high-profile multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund are looking to make a newly created London based specialist treasury operations hire. The firm have a specialist treasury operations function overseas that they are looking to replicate in London, specific to European trading (cash management / collateral / FX hedging / Repo oversight etc.).

It is an exciting role as in addition to working a hands-on SME role with ownership of responsibilities, that exposes the hire to all European investment strategies and traders, he/she will work with the London head of operations to build out the specialist function here. Project management responsibilities are therefore prevalent in the role – the hire will work closely with the in-house tech team to implement new ideas (that the software developers will deliver on / that this hire will project manage).

Candidates should have roughly 3-6 years experience, ideally in a hedge fund treasury operations role, however an operations / middle office position that encompasses cash management / collateral responsibilities is also suitable. We could consider IB candidates working in specialist cash / collateral / FX teams.

The role is budgeted to pay a £70-80k base salary (potential flex). High performing operations staff at the firm earn large % bonuses.
