Top-Tier Hedge Fund – Broad Fund Accounting role – Highly Competitive Base & Bonus
We are working with a well-established, growing Hedge Fund helping them secure a Fund Accountant. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge of fund structures and cover a breadth of financial markets and instruments.
The role will join a high calibre, well-established team and report into the head of fund accounting. It will work with the outsourced fund administrators and have a broad remit covering NAV calculations, valuations, investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions. This will also be responsible for reviewing and reconciling fund expenses, accruals, and management/performance fees. The firm is incredibly efficiency-focused, and you will have autonomy to manage process improvement/automation projects (they are currently developing some data visualization tools), working directly with their market-leading tech team. This team has a lot of visibility across the senior leadership and investment team, so it is important to have excellent attention to detail and be confident presenting to a variety of stakeholders.
For this, we are looking for qualified accountants with 0-2 years PQE. It is important to have knowledge of complex financial instruments, and exposure working with financial services firms/hedge funds/investment banking clients is vital. Any exposure to VBA/SQL/Python is highly desirable.
The firm is looking to pay between £70-£80k depending on experience along with a substantial bonus and considerable year-on-year increases.
