Tax Specialist - Global Hedge Fund - Highly Competitive Base, Bonus & Benefits

Mondrian Alpha are partnering with a highly successful global hedge fund to hire a Tax Specialist into their expanding UK/EMEA Tax team in London.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to join a high-performing tax function within a leading hedge fund. The role works closely with high-calibre senior tax professionals and colleagues across the business, where you will gain exposure to a broad range of UK and international tax matters in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will support corporate tax and VAT compliance, withholding tax processes, transfer pricing reviews, and regulatory reporting, while also assisting with tax projects, process improvements, audits, and monitoring changes in tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or CTA qualified with zero to two years post qualification experience, gained either within financial services or a leading accountancy firm. A strong understanding of UK tax is essential, while exposure to European tax regimes, transfer pricing, and withholding tax would be advantageous. Candidates should be analytical, detail-oriented, and keen to broaden their technical expertise within a global investment business.
