Our client, a high-profile global Hedge Fund, are looking to make a ‘Talent Acquisition Specialist’ hire. This is into the firm's expanding London office. The hire will take ownership for all UK, non-investment function talent acquisition at the firm, a remit that will be highly visible & autonomous.
A core focus is to develop UK sourcing strategy and take ownership of talent acquisition strategy for the London non-investment function, working with senior business heads to evolve how the firm assess talent coming into the firm, whilst striving for a good mix of early talent and senior talent hiring, including the development and execution of the lateral talent plan.
This is an exciting time to join the firm as they expand their global footprint and build out a best-in-class HR function in its rapidly expanding London office.
Candidates should have 5-10 years relevant FS experience in ‘talent’, ideally working within an in-house HR function, but we could also consider candidates coming directly from an FS recruitment firm. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a pre-requisite. There is also a strong focus on academic profile and any additional industry qualifications.
The role is projected to pay a £150-225k total comp package year one, with the variable dependent on the level of candidate that is hired and their individual year-one performance. Separately, a bonus buyout will ensure that the hire will not lose out financially if he/she is moving pre-bonus.
