Our client, a leading global Hedge Fund, is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their team in a highly visible and impactful role supporting the EMEA region. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious payroll professional to take ownership of payroll and benefits operations across multiple jurisdictions while playing a key role in a number of strategic business initiatives.

The successful individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure the smooth delivery of payroll and benefits processes, whilst helping drive improvements to systems, controls and overall operational efficiency. The firm is currently undertaking a significant transformation of its payroll and benefits infrastructure. As a result, this role will suit someone who enjoys operating beyond traditional payroll administration and is motivated by change, continuous improvement and problem solving.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing end to end payroll and benefits activity across the region (UK focused to begin)
  • Managing key third-party vendor relationships
  • Supporting ongoing systems and process enhancements

The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist / Officer / Manager running UK payroll and ideally broader experience with jurisdictions across the EMEA region. They will be comfortable working autonomously, managing multiple priorities, engaging with external providers and contributing to wider transformation initiatives.
