We are working with a rapidly growing, yet established multi-billion $ AUM Hedge Fund, who are looking to hire an individual to assist in their investor relations and client services efforts. My client is launching a new fund after the success of their Master Fund and are now looking to make their #2 hire in their Sales & Investor Relations function, offering a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the investor relations remit.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Sales & IR - who joined from one of the most prominent seats at a leading global multi-strategy hedge funds a couple of years ago. The remit will be incredibly broad and will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for existing investors
- Leading ODD and IDD onsites
- Updating and maintaining marketing materials
- Working closely with the investment team to manage RFPs and DDQs
The position will be client facing from day one, with immediate exposure to sophisticated institutional investors and the opportunity to help drive the firm’s growth trajectory.
Candidates should have 4+ years of relevant investor relations experience within a reputable buyside firm. There is a preference for individuals who have had exposure to hedge fund investment strategies. My client is a market leader in compensation and will offer the successful candidate a strong uplift on their base salary and a highly competitive bonus.
