Mondrian Alpha have partnered with a highly profitable global investment platform to hire a Senior Valuations professional with strong Python capabilities to join a growing team supporting a broad portfolio of investments across technology, digital infrastructure, and other high-growth sectors. The firm manages a substantial pool of internal capital and operates with the flexibility and speed of a proprietary investment platform.
Following a period of significant growth, they are looking to expand their investment activities globally and are further building out their London presence. This role sits close to the investment team and will support the full deal lifecycle through valuation and financial analysis across both pre- and post-investment activity.
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct pre-deal valuation work to support investment decision making.
- Perform ongoing post-investment valuations assessing company performance and growth.
- Build financial models, budgets and forecasts to evaluate portfolio companies.
- Review and validate valuation models produced internally and by external partners.
- Help develop valuation frameworks, processes and systems as the platform continues to scale.
- Focus on improving efficiency through automation using Python to analyse data, automate valuation processes and support reporting.
SQL experience is also advantageous. For this role, we are looking to speak with candidates who have 5–10 years’ experience within valuations or corporate finance. This could include professionals from Valuations teams at a Big 4 or Top 10 firm, or individuals who have gained experience within a fund or investment platform environment.
Candidates should have strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, and hands-on Python experience is essential for this role as it will form a key part of how the team analyses data and improves processes. The team is continuing to build out its London presence, offering the opportunity to join at an exciting stage of growth within a well-capitalised and highly active investment platform.
As this is a new role, they are flexible on the budget, bonus will range between 20-50% with strong long-term upside potential. They are incredibly flexible as a firm and only require occasional trips to the London office.
