My client is a leading global multi‑manager hedge fund seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a front‑office engineering team responsible for building and evolving the core technology platforms used by portfolio managers, traders, and investment teams across the firm. The role sits at the heart of the investment process.
Engineers partner directly with PMs, traders, risk teams, and operations to design and deliver the systems that drive portfolio construction, execution, position management, intraday P&L, exposure monitoring, FX hedging, and trade lifecycle management. The work spans both greenfield development and strategic platform evolution, with a strong focus on scalability, usability, and performance. This is a highly visible position with significant ownership.
Rather than operating as a central technology function removed from the business, the team works as a direct extension of the investment platform, helping shape workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and deliver tools that have a measurable impact on investment outcomes.
