A large AUM, expanding hedge fund, having their best ever performance year, are looking to make a newly created hire specific to performance & attribution analysis.

The role has coverage across equity and fixed income strategies, working a remit that is both hands-on and senior, given that the hire will be the main point of contact / point of escalation for a range of internal & external stakeholders.

As a multi-asset performance and attribution SME, the hire will manage performance data processes, provide attribution analysis to the investment team (that you sit with), and take lead when looking to improve performance reporting workflows which includes the buildout of new tools and the automation of existing processes.

The nature of the work will mean that the hire will use SQL and python to an advanced standard, with an expectation that he / she will pick up a range of additional coding abilities in the role.

Candidates should have 5-10 years experience specifically in performance/attribution. Candidates must be fluent in SQL and python. The expectation is for the hire to have excellent, STEM focused, academics.

The role is budgeted to pay a £150-200k TC pending fund and individual performance. It is possible to work a hybrid week – 3 days in the office / 2 days WFH.
