Our client, a leading US hedge fund that is undergoing a major expansion across the EMEA region, is looking to hire a HR Specialist to join their recently created People Analytics and Operations team in a newly created role based in London. Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, the hire will take on a multi-faceted role whereby he/she will leverage their generalist skillset working to manage key events across the employee lifecycle whilst also focusing on HR transformation and change initiatives which aim to introduce people analytics tools, streamline operational processes and centralise and optimize the use of the firm’s HRIS.

You will join a lean team where operational administration is managed by HR Assistants, providing you with the opportunity to focus on supporting the Business Partner with oversight of the technology and investment business lines with performance management and year-end compensation review processes. The firm recently implemented Workday HRIS and there is a project manager that has rolled out multiple modules, albeit the set up is rather fragmented and hence, this hire will work on key transformation projects to support the integration of key HR processes onto the HRIS platform including onboarding, global mobility, reporting and payroll.

The hire will also be encouraged to identify opportunities to automate and/or streamline existing processes or leverage any technical skills to work on the roll out of HR data and analytics tools. The firm is also working on a range of exciting projects to incorporate GenAI into the HR function which the hire will have the opportunity to work on.

The Ideal Candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as a HR Analyst or Generalist that has had strong exposure to change and projects or will be part of a People Analytics or HR Data Analytics team at a leading asset manager or bank. My client is also open to candidates that are rolling off a HR graduate scheme that have done a rotation in a projects team.

The role will pay up to £80K base salary (albeit with flexibility) with a large % bonus component in addition for a strong performer (the firm are widely regarded as being one of the leading bonus payers in the hedge fund industry). The firm also offer fantastic benefits (fully subsidised food, gym, top healthcare & pension packages etc.)
