Head of Operations – Boutique Hedge Fund - ABU DHABI BASED
A quant strategy, Abu Dhabi based boutique Hedge Fund, with a sizeable AUM, is looking to hire its first ‘Head of Operations’.
The role bridges the operations analyst and the COO, taking on oversight of outsourced service providers, remaining hands‑on BAU operations tasks and freeing up time for the trading desk to deliver better analysis and commentary. The hire will also drive infrastructure development projects during an expansion phase.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and streamline outsourced service provider operations
- Handle day‑to‑day operational tasks and ensure smooth BAU processes
- Provide support to the trading desk with enhanced analysis and commentary
- Lead infrastructure development projects aligned with the firm’s growth objectives
Qualifications
- 5‑10 years of experience in hedge fund operations (sell‑side experience not accepted)
- Current or recent employment at a quant / systematic / high‑volume multi‑asset trading firm
- Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, and service provider management
- Proven ability to work independently and keep high efficiency in a fast‑moving environment
Compensation
An attractive step‑up from your current London base salary plus a 50%+ bonus potential – all compensation will be tax‑free.
