Middle Office Associate (Trading Floor) – Hedge Fund
A global hedge fund is looking to make a newly created middle office hire to support their rapidly expanding London trading team.
Sat facing off to a bank of multi‑asset traders, the hire will handle trade bookings, execution oversight, oversight of outsourced back‑office service providers (settlements, recs etc), P&L reporting / analysis etc. The hire will also often work on ad‑hoc projects for senior traders.
This is a great role to have constant exposure to high volume, industry‑recognised traders, in a role with a varied, highly‑autonomous remit.
Candidates should have 4‑8 years experience in an IB or Hedge Fund operations / trade support / middle office role. Ideally, coverage of both equities and fixed income is desirable. Project management experience is also preferred.
The role is paying up to £100k base salary and a discretionary bonus. The firm also offers an excellent benefits package (large pension, gold‑star healthcare etc.)

Qualifications
- 4‑8 years of experience in IB or Hedge Fund middle office, trade support or operations
- Strong knowledge of equities and fixed income trade flows
- Project management experience desirable
- Ability to manage high‑volume trading environment
