Our client, a leading market maker, is seeking to hire a Trading Operations professional with a strong automation focus to join their expanding London team. This is a newly created role, driven by significant growth in trading volumes, the centralisation of the trading operations function within EMEA, and the addition of multiple new trading desks. The successful hire will sit within the trading operations group, gaining exposure to a blend of traditional responsibilities while playing a key role in projects around process optimisation, risk mitigation, and infrastructure build-outs.
Responsibilities
- Perform traditional trading operations tasks including reconciliations, settlements, trade capture, and corporate actions.
- Lead or contribute to process optimisation, risk mitigation, and infrastructure build-outs through automation-focused projects.
Qualifications
- 2–8 years of trading operations experience (buy-side or sell-side).
- Proven track record in process efficiency and automation.
- Proficiency in VBA, SQL or Python (essential).
