We are working with a global investment firm that is hiring an Associate to support portfolio analytics, investment decision-making and reporting across the business. This is a data-driven role suited to someone with strong commercial understanding and the technical ability to work deeply with complex portfolio data.
Working closely with a senior Portfolio Data & Analytics lead, you will maintain and validate core portfolio data, run recurring updates and integrity checks, and resolve data issues as they arise. You will analyse large datasets to support portfolio attribution, post-deal analysis, performance monitoring and IR reporting, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Query and SQL/Python. You will also help build and improve dashboards, models and analytical tools, and present clear, well-structured insights to investment and stakeholder teams.
The firm is looking for someone with 2–4 years' experience in a data-heavy analytical role within financial services, asset management, or a similar environment. You should have strong academics, advanced Excel skills, experience with Power BI, and working knowledge of Python. A solid understanding of portfolio and investment concepts, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate analysis are highly desirable.
