A multi-billion dollar AUM, market leading, highly prestigious hedge fund, are looking to hire an established Performance Analyst into its London office. The role is supporting an experienced performance professional, supporting European investment strategies, albeit the idea is for the hire to take more direct ownership over specific strategies as you grow in this role.
The role will directly face off to the investment teams - there is constant interaction with portfolio managers and also the sales/marketing/product specialist teams. A big challenge of this role is to quickly develop strong relationships with senior members of these teams. The hire will learn investment processes/strategies to a detailed and technical level within this role.
You can expect to learn Python, SQL and Power BI to a very strong standard in this role. The role has a strong focus on automation of reporting processes. You will also build dashboards for the investment teams.
The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years experience in a performance analyst role, but we can consider candidates working in alternative data/portfolio analytics roles. Candidates must have Python experience, with a strong desire/aptitude to learn additional coding skills through on-the-job learning and external courses (that the firm will fully subsidise). You should have an excellent academic record.
The role will pay up to a £95k base salary and a bonus percentage that can be a large proportion of base for a top performer. My client offers one of the best benefits packages in the hedge fund space. It is also possible to work from home every Friday.
