A rapidly expanding quant/systematic strategy hedge fund are looking to hire a London based investor relations analyst. The role has a remit covering portfolio analysis/analytics (hence a strong exposure to the investment desk), production of subsequent marketing materials/reports/presentations and client services for a book of existing investors (the hire will be their first point of contact for their questions, queries and bespoke reports/analytics).
The hire will also run a variety of tech projects, some focused on process improvement/automation, some AI driven, and others simply using his/her own initiative to create 'operational alpha' within the business development function.
Candidates should have 2-5 years experience in a hedge fund IR/client services role. A top tier academic profile is required, as are advanced tech skills (in either VBA, SQL, Python ideally) and a clear ability to use tech to automate processes.
The role can pay up to an £80k base salary. A large % bonus potential is on offer, with the variable dependent on individual performance. The fund has a relatively flexible WFH policy – the set rule is for employees to be in the office 3 days per week minimum, but additional flexibility is possible when required.
