We are working with an established hedge fund looking to hire a Finance & Team Assistant. This is a varied role, blending junior finance responsibilities with executive support duties, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build broad exposure within a high-performing investment management environment.

The successful candidate will support across a blend of finance, operations and executive support duties. Responsibilities will include assisting with invoicing, expenses, supplier payments, reconciliations and general finance administration, as well as supporting senior stakeholders with diary management, meeting coordination, and broader administrative tasks. You will work closely with members of the finance and operations team, gaining exposure to the day-to-day running of a hedge fund and developing a strong understanding of how different business functions interact. Over time, there could be scope to take on additional responsibilities across finance, operations, investor relations, office management or wider business support, depending on your strengths and areas of interest.

The role would suit a bright, organised and proactive individual who enjoys working across a range of responsibilities and wants to develop within a collegiate and friendly team. The position has significant potential to evolve over time depending on the individual’s interests, strengths and longer-term career goals.

The firm is open-minded on background but it is important to have some basic accounting knowledge (either 1-2 years within a role, or Accounting degree / AAT). Candidates should be intelligent as well as highly organised, detail-oriented and reliable.
