We’re partnering with a leading high-frequency trading (HFT) firm seeking a Junior FPGA Engineer to join a world-class low-latency engineering team.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious hardware or FPGA engineer who wants to work on ultra-low latency trading systems, contribute directly to production performance, and grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Work On

  • Designing, implementing, and optimising FPGA-based trading systems used in live production environments.
  • Working across networking, hardware acceleration, and digital design to push performance limits in microseconds and sub-microseconds trading.
  • Collaborating closely with software engineers and quantitative researchers to integrate FPGA systems into full trading pipelines.
  • Exposure to high-performance systems architecture, custom protocol design, and hardware/software co-design.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong foundation in FPGA design, VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog, or hardware acceleration.
  • Exposure to high-speed networking (Ethernet, PCIe, UDP/TCP stacks) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with low-level systems, ideally from a startup, lab, or small engineering team where you owned projects end-to-end.
  • A problem-solver who enjoys working close to the metal, experimenting, and optimizing performance.
  • Passion for trading technology, low-latency systems, or real-time computing.
