Mondrian Alpha are working with a global hedge fund on the appointment of a Junior / Part-Qualified Accountant with 0.5-2 years of experience to join its growing finance function. This opportunity is designed for an exceptional early-career accountant who has some baseline understanding of bookkeeping and accounting, who is seeking exposure to a high-quality investment environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a lean, high-calibre finance team, gaining hands-on experience across the full accounting lifecycle of a hedge fund. From day 1, you will support across core financial processes including monthly reporting, ledger maintenance, balance sheet analysis and supporting fund NAV calculations. You will also play a role in audit preparation and coordinate closely with external administrators and service providers.

This role is well suited to someone who has either studied Accounting & Finance and some basic experience of bookkeeping, or who has proactively moved into an accounting/audit role and begun studying towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA exams. Candidates should have strong academics, have strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Depending on experience, the team will offer between £35k - £45k plus strong bonus and market leading benefits. They provide a comprehensive study package for either ACCA, CIMA or ACA as well as time off around exams.
