A rapidly expanding, multi-billion dollar AUM boutique hedge fund that has achieved market leading performance in its space, is looking to make a newly created marketing team hire. Supporting the Head of Sales and an Investor Relations Manager, the investor relations analyst will take ownership of marketing support responsibilities, freeing up their time to focus on core fundraiser and investor management tasks.
Example BAU responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that marketing materials and presentations are up to date
- Managing the CRM
- Following up with investors and setting up meetings for the sales team
The hire can expect to be in investor meetings from an early stage and will be the first point of contact for investor questions and queries. You will be tasked with putting together ad-hoc research and presentations to assist with internal decision making around marketing strategy.
The firm will re-hire this role within 2 years, allowing for progression within the firm. Longer term, it is reasonable to work towards a role more directly aligned to capital formation or a more senior IR position internally.
We are ideally looking for a current marketing support, IR, or client services junior with roughly 2-4 years of experience in this space who is looking for a step up and more accountability. Candidates should have a strong academic profile, with strong writing, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required.
The role can pay up to an £80k base salary, with a large percentage bonus potential on offer, dependent on individual performance. The fund has a relatively flexible WFH policy, with a set rule for employees to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, but additional flexibility is possible when required.
