Junior HR Manager (18 month FTC) – Global Hedge Fund – Up to £100k TC – WFH Flexibility
My client, a global multi‑billion dollar hedge fund, is looking to hire an Interim HR Operations Manager into their London office on a 12–18 month FTC.
This is an opportunity for an HR professional looking to take a step up to a role with an HR Manager remit, working with exceptional HR professionals and a range of industry‑leading traders / portfolio managers.
The hire will take on a broad generalist remit, working with the Global Talent Lead and a Senior HR Manager to run year‑end performance management processes. As the firm broadens its European footprint, the hire will have the opportunity to step into a lean London team and take complete ownership of HR operations delivery and all areas of the employee lifecycle. The role will also involve managing HR data at a time when the firm is veering towards making HR a more data‑driven function.
The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience as an HR Generalist / Operations Specialist / HR Manager at a hedge fund or asset manager; the firm is also happy to consider candidates from a technology or fintech firm.
This is a business‑critical hire (he/she will be treated as a permanent employee). The firm is committed to paying a very attractive total compensation package that will include a substantial step‑up on base salary, a bonus up to 40%, and fantastic benefits. A top performer could earn up to a £100k TC annually. There will also be some WFH flexibility for the successful candidate.
