Our client, a high-profile global hedge fund, is looking to hire a HR Operations specialist to join a lean European HR team. Stepping into a newly created role and reporting directly to the Head of HR, the hire will take on a high impact and high autonomy role from day one with the remit being broken down into three facets.
Firstly, as a generalist managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle for employees globally at all levels. The hire will also play a key role in supporting the set up and execution of people strategy – working with HRIS technologists and finance to centralise HR infrastructure and make the function much more data driven.
Project work, specific to the roll out of Workday as the firm’s new HRIS will also be a facet, allowing one the opportunity to support with the implementation, drive process improvements and automation initiatives and support with the roll out of people analytics tools.
The firm are looking to bring in an ambitious and proactive professional that is keen to leverage their Generalist skillset whilst taking on key project work and scaling a learning curve. The hire will benefit from exposure to HR BPs, HR infrastructure specialists and HR project specialists as colleagues and mentors that will help develop and hone one’s skillset as a well rounded generalist at a fast paced and growing hedge fund.
Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of experience as a HR Analyst, Operations Specialist, HR Associate or a Generalist at a leading buy-side firm or investment bank. However, our client is open to hiring a strong candidate from the Fintech or technology space given that they have exposure to supporting with projects and HR analytics tools.
This is a business-critical hire so my client will provide the successful candidate with a strong increase on base (most likely capped around £90k), with strong performers making a significant % bonus in addition. The firm offers fantastic benefits including top of the line healthcare, an in-house gym and fully subsidised breakfast/lunch. They also support employees looking to gain additional qualifications and will offer WFH flexibility after their probation period.
