Overview
HR Business Partner (level 2 to HRD) – Prop Trading Firm – London, UK. Global proprietary trading firm seeking its first HR Business Partner to directly support the European HR Director for the rapidly expanding London office. The role is autonomous and highly visible, working with onsite investment and quantitative strategy teams.
Responsibilities
- Own a broad range of HR Business Partnering activities for the onsite business lines, including HR operations & systems management, policy development and execution, and compensation & benefits focus.
- Lead HR infrastructure buildouts and project work (e.g., redevelopment of talent management frameworks).
- Partner with high-performing investment/ trading technology and quantitative teams; manage stakeholder relationships and drive projects to completion.
- Manage training, promotions, disciplinary processes, and performance management for the site teams.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years HR experience in financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management, project management skills, and excellent academics.
- Ability to work effectively with demanding investment & trading technology/quant teams.
Compensation and Benefits
Year one total compensation up to £200k base. Strong base increase relative to current package; sign-on bonus offered to offset any forgoing bonuses at this time. Comprehensive benefits package.
