Our client, a major US hedge fund, with a rapidly growing London office, are looking to add a HR Assistant to join their Human Capital team. The hire is a newly created position.
The hire will report into a HR Director, taking ownership for highly visible responsibilities across HR operations and in all areas of the employee lifecycle. The remit includes taking ownership of the onboarding lifecycle including contract management, liaising with external vendors and stakeholders and onboarding new joiners across all functions in Europe.
The firm is growing rapidly, and so the individual must be able to operate autonomously and in a proactive manner in a fast-paced environment supporting the HR Director with all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
The hire will take on varied project work, mainly to support with process streamlining, more specifically looking to enhance existing processes in onboarding, offboarding and talent management.
The nature of the role / remit will allow a successful hire to work their way towards a Business Partner role within the firm’s Human Capital function.
Relevant candidates will have 1-4 years experience as a HR Administrator/ HR Coordinator / HR Analyst. Candidates must be able to operate in an independent, fast paced manner and a willingness to step up and grow into the role. Candidates with strong academic profiles are preferred.
The role has a £70k base salary cap. It will offer a high performer a large % of this number as an additional year-end bonus.
