Head of Operations / Middle Office – High Profile Hedge Fund Launch

A high profile, new multi-strategy hedge fund, with big seed investment, is looking to hire a Head of Operations / Middle Office well ahead of its launch date.

Working alongside industry-recognized investment professionals and reporting into a very well-established COO, the hire will be tasked with building out the controls framework and operational infrastructure, and to run the remit hands-on initially (albeit the firm aims to outsource many processes). Within 12-18 months, the hire should have a small team working for him/her.

Candidates must be experienced hedge fund professionals from operations, middle office, or trader assistant backgrounds. We prefer candidates to have a good academic record and a strong grasp of technology. An ability and personality to work in a small office and new launch environment is key.
