We are working exclusively with a fast-growing private equity firm based in Central London to appoint their first senior finance hire.

The firm operates a differentiated investment model and is at an exciting stage of growth, moving into fund management for the first time after several years of successful investing from its own balance sheet.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering both the management company and the fund.

Day to day, you will take ownership of the full finance function: monthly reporting, board packs, cashflow management and all statutory and tax obligations.

Alongside this, you will manage the relationship with the outsourced fund administrator as the firm approaches and works through its first close, overseeing all fund-related finance activity including investor reporting and fund-level cash management.

The right candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or similar) with solid post-qualification experience spanning both in-house finance and the fund side of a private equity or venture capital firm.

You will be comfortable managing third-party providers, working without a large team around you, and owning the finance function.

This is a firm at an inflection point, and this hire will be central to it.

There is a clear trajectory to CFO, direct access to the founding team, and the chance to build something from scratch in a business with real momentum.

If you have spent your career wanting to own a function rather than support one, this is worth a conversation.

The role is based in Central London - 2/3 days WFH and good flexibility, with a firm that understands people have lives outside of work.
