Our client, a leading global hedge fund and arguably one of the most prestigious names in the market, is looking to hire a Compensation Specialist into a lean, evolving Reward team in London.
Stepping into a newly created role and reporting to a global lead, the successful hire will combine hands-on compensation activity with analytics, benchmarking, and initiatives to enhance that reward platform leveraging AI and proprietary technology. They will support compensation processes across the employee lifecycle, including annual and interim review processes, global mobility allowances and considerations and managing pay-outs for exits at all levels for revenue and non-revenue generators. They will also analyse compensation data to identify trends in employee retention rates across different platforms, build reporting and data visualisation tools which integrate AI to improve the delivery real-time digestible information to business leaders and HRBPs, and hence contribute revamping and evolving job architecture and sizing internally as the firm grows. The firm is also aligning to changes in regulation which this hire will play a key role in supporting. The hire will lead projects, present recommendations to managers and work directly with the business. This role offers the hire an opportunity to join a function going through maturation at a growing and evolving firm, giving them the opportunity to progress rapidly and broaden their remit and technical skillset rather quickly.
Candidates should have experience as a compensation or reward specialist within financial services, although experience within technology will also be considered. The firm operates with a very flat structure, so they are looking for a professional that is comfortable taking a hands-on approach whilst also being able to step back and take a more project heavy lens when needed.
Whilst we can be pragmatic, the role should roughly cap out at a £100k base. A strong performer will receive a significant % bonus.
