Mondrian Alpha are partnered with a top-tier global hedge fund, renowned for its strong performance and high-calibre team. Following continued AUM growth, the firm is seeking to hire an FP&A professional.
This is a unique opportunity to join a commercially focused finance team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, and strategic decision support for senior leadership. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the role will combine core FP&A responsibilities with process improvement and automation initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across investment, operations, and technology. Key duties will include building and maintaining financial models, delivering analysis and insight for key business decisions, developing dashboards and helping with some BAU accounting (though this is only a very small portion of the work). The position offers broad exposure across the business and the chance to shape best-in-class processes in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking qualified accountants (ACA or equivalent) with 0–3 years’ PQE. Candidates should have an understanding of the hedge fund industry and knowledge of financial instruments. Strong Excel modelling skills and the ability to present complex data clearly are essential. Experience in finance process automation, Alteryx, and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI will be advantageous.
