EMEA Portfolio Finance / Treasury Operations Lead - Global Hedge Fund - £200k+ TC – WFH Flex

A leading global hedge fund is seeking to hire a newly created EMEA Portfolio Finance / Treasury Operations Lead within its high-performing London office.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering portfolio financing / treasury operations / margin and payments tasks and acting as the primary escalation point for junior staff. The position has a strong strategic dimension, with the successful hire expected to lead and deliver major initiatives as trading volumes scale, focusing on process optimisation, strengthening existing infrastructure, and enhancing the overall robustness of the function.

The role also carries meaningful leadership responsibility, with a clear mandate to support and develop juniors, helping to shape the long-term capability and culture of a team that will be responsible for treasury operations.

Candidates can come from either the buy side or sell side and should have solid exposure to treasury operations / portfolio finance, ideally including solid experience in margin. Strong academic credentials are preferred, along with demonstrable experience in developing junior talent.

This is a critical hire, offering the opportunity for a strong performer to earn north of £200k TC in their first year. The role also offers hybrid flexibility, with the option to WFH 1–2 days per week.
