A high performing, prestigious Dubai based family office are looking to hire a newly created ‘Director of Finance and Operations’. The role is broad as it is hands-on (across finance, operations, risk, portfolio analytics), it has management responsibilities for a small team (that will continue to expand next year), a project management focus (creating / leading major initiatives to improve existing non-investment infrastructure) and a core relationship management component (managing multiple outsourced service providers / custodians / PB’s).
Candidates should come from a hedge fund / asset management background, with experience covering both finance and operations. Whilst not a pre-requisite, there is a strong preference to hire a qualified accountant. Strong academics are required regardless of level of experience.
The role will offer salary that is comparable to what the highest paid hedge fund heads of operations / finance directors in London receive, albeit with a step up for moving, tax free earnings, and with sign on bonus / guarantee that will ensure the hire does not lose out financially resigning pre-bonus + a relocation bonus to ensure a smooth transition to Dubai. The firm also offer an excellent benefits package.
