A multi-billion dollar AUM asset manager is looking to make a director level hire specific to the firm’s global external research, broker relations, and corporate access capabilities. The hire will own the strategy and target operating model for global research operations and vendor management, managing a small team and tasked with the responsibility to build out the function to support rapid business growth and new investment strategies.

Candidates should ideally have a blend of senior level experience in research operations (with an ability to work at both the highest level within the firm, but also hands-on), vendor management, and market data/procurement experience. A sound knowledge of MIFID is preferred. Experience with multiple research platforms and workflow tools is highly desired.

The role will likely pay up to a £400k TC; however, as it is the first time that the firm has made this hire, there is flexibility on salary as the focus is to provide the most relevant hire with a very attractive uplift on his/her current compensation.
