High-impact Development Manager role within a modern, cloud-first investment group! We’re partnering with a leading private investment firm that has built one of the most forward-thinking engineering environments in European finance. The business is now looking for a Development Manager to lead a talented cross-functional engineering team, drive DevSecOps maturity, and evolve cloud architecture and delivery standards across the group. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role — ideal for an experienced Engineering or DevSecOps Lead who enjoys coaching teams, shaping technical direction, and delivering practical, secure, scalable software solutions.
The Opportunity
- Lead and mentor a team of software, data, and cloud engineers delivering high-value business platforms.
- Define and evolve the firm’s DevSecOps strategy — embedding automation, observability, and security-by-design into every stage of development.
- Drive best practice across CI/CD, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code using modern cloud tooling.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
- Promote modern delivery standards (DORA metrics, testing excellence, Agile maturity, code quality).
- Shape the technical roadmap and contribute hands-on to architecture and engineering where needed.

What We’re Looking For
