My client is one of the most prestigious hedge funds globally, managing over $20bn in AUM. They are a top-decile performer across all of their strategies. They are looking to make their first Investor Relations / Client Services hire in their London office. This individual will report directly to the Global Head of Investor Relations, based in the US, and work closely with the firm’s London-based asset raiser.
In this role, the successful candidate will operate with a global remit and engage with some of the largest and most sophisticated investors worldwide. Responsibilities will span all aspects of investor relations and client servicing, including:
- Hosting ODD on-sites with investors
- Creating and updating marketing materials
- Serving as the first point of contact for ad hoc queries from EMEA investors
- Managing CRM systems and investor reporting
The position will be client-facing for existing investors. My client is in growth mode and has doubled AUM over the past couple of years. This is an opportunity to join one of the industry’s most prestigious funds, play a key role in future expansion, and grow within the organisation.
Candidates should have 5–10 years of relevant investor relations experience within a reputable buy-side manager. There is a strong preference for candidates with a deep understanding of alternatives, particularly hedge funds or private markets. My client prides itself on being a top payer in the market and will offer the successful candidate a significant uplift in both base salary and total compensation.
