A boutique hedge fund, with a sizeable, expanding AUM and outstanding double-digit performance, are looking to hire an exceptional COO.
The COO will take on a high-performing non-investment team, that have rock-bottom attrition, to oversee, albeit the headcount includes established managers in operations, finance, compliance, IR and risk, so the role is oversight as opposed to hands-on. The COO will work closely to the CIO and main PM’s on business strategy. Infrastructure development will also be a focus over the coming years as the fund continue to push forwards with their expansion from London.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced boutique hedge fund COO that has worn ‘many hats’. It is a pre-requisite to have strong management / leadership experience. There is a preference for candidates that have strong numerical skills. An accounting qualification and/or strong skills picked up via experience is also preferred.
The role is targeted to pay a year one £500-600k total comp package.
