A global $10bn+ AUM credit hedge fund, building out its European (London) office, are looking to make a newly created CLO operations hire.
The firm have an incredible track-record and reputation in overseas – they recently embarked on a major buildout phase in Europe, with a CLO support hire its latest business critical headcount.
The newly created London based hire will take ownership for European CLO operations (albeit with help from overseas teams at times of high volume / bottlenecks). The hire will be tasked with managing the full CLO lifecycle which includes managing operational processes for both CLO warehouses and CLO transactions, trade bookings, portfolio compliance, overseeing loan trading & settlements processes, dealing with the trustee, managing drawdowns etc.
As the firm expect to significantly buildout their European CLO business, it is possible that the hire can bring in 1-2 juniors in the future to manage + shorter term he/she will regularly work on buildout projects alongside front office & senior management (there is a lot of fluidity in the role to make an impact and influence change – with the hire’s initiative, guidance and direction, it is possible to implement new CLO operations processes).
Candidates must be experienced in CLO / CDO operations. We are open to candidates from banks, trustees, administrators or other funds. We are flexible on level of experience.
The role is budgeted to pay a £70-90k base salary and a 50%+ bonus potential (the upside dependant on individual and fund performance).
