Mondrian Alpha are partnering with a highly regarded, international investment firm to hire a Finance Manager into their growing London-based finance team. The business has built a strong reputation advising high and ultra-high-net-worth clients and continues to scale their platform.
This role sits within a lean but high-performing finance team, reporting into an experienced Financial Controller and working closely with the wider business. The remit is broad and will suit a qualified ACA who is comfortable operating across both technical accounting and hands-on finance responsibilities.
You will take ownership of core monthly and quarterly processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and supporting the close process, while also contributing to budgeting, forecasting and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
The firm are looking for candidates who are comfortable taking a hands-on approach to their work, and are offering strong visibility and regular interaction with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to take ownership early in a fast-growing, commercially minded environment.
The ideal candidate is ACA qualified (1-3 years PQE), ideally with a background in financial services, strong technical accounting experience, advanced excel skills and experience working with accounting systems. Experience mentoring junior team members, exposure to multi-jurisdictional entities or additional language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
