Overview
Our client is a leading European alternative investment manager with a range of strategies across corporate and asset-backed credit. They have launched and are scaling their new Capital Solutions strategy focused on providing flexible bespoke financings across the capital structure to European corporates. The team is lean and is looking to add a skilled junior to help build the strategy. The hire will gain immediate responsibility across transactions, with direct exposure to origination, structuring and execution. This role is ideal for someone eager to work across the capital structure and support deals that fall outside the scope of traditional lending mandates. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing strategy within a highly regarded investment platform, working closely with senior leadership on a range of complex primary deals. The lean structure of the team ensures that the successful hire will have significant responsibility and visibility from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Support origination, structuring and execution of transactions for the Capital Solutions strategy.
- Work across the capital structure to enable bespoke financings for European corporates.
- Contribute to deal execution and due diligence on complex primary transactions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to move deals forward.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit or a related buy-side role.
- Strong financial modelling skills and a solid understanding of capital structures.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
