My client, a multi-billion dollar AUM multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire an Associate HRBP (with a financial services background), to be based in their London office, to take ownership of the corporate functions business line as the firm undergoes a global geographical expansion. This is a newly created position which offers the hire an autonomous and high impact role, with the benefit of mentorship from senior members of the HR team as well as the C-Suite.
Working directly with a HR Director that is creating people strategy for Technology and Non-Investment teams for the entire firm, the hire will step into a multi-faceted role, divided between leveraging one’s generalist skillset and scaling a learning curve by actively working on new change management and transformation projects, employee experience initiatives and helping adjust the firms organizational infrastructure as it continues to expand globally.
The hire will step into a highly autonomous Business Partnering role, supporting the COO, CFO and CRO (as well as other members of the partnership board) to ensure that HR strategy is aligned with business growth objectives. The hire will be expected to leverage their strong generalist skillset managing all facets of the employee lifecycle and leading on cyclical processes including annual reviews, talent road mapping, performance management, and reviews.
The hire will also take an active role in the firm’s push to make HR a more data driven function, leveraging new analytics and AI tools to track employee engagement metrics, compensation benchmarking and rolling out new talent and performance management frameworks. The hire will also take an active role in workforce planning for their business line and work with managers (established and first time) to boost employee retention, create development plans and explore potential improvements that may be made to existing HR processes from onboarding through to ER case management.
