Working as ‘Collateral Management SME’, the operations analyst will be exposed to the firm’s full European trading coverage. Core responsibilities in this role include managing collateral, daily margin, counterparty risk, and liquidity.
The role also has a core project focus, mainly focused on platform enhancements & efficiency drivers – the hire will run many projects individually, many that he/she will have mandated themselves (to make BAU even easier / more analytically focused). It is possible to learn Python, VBA, and SQL to a strong standard in this role.
Progression possibilities are varied - a managerial role in this specialist function (as it builds out), or a move to a trader assistant role, or a move into treasury / portfolio financing are the most likely options.
Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in a hedge fund or top-tier IB operations / trade support role. We expect candidates to have strong academics and ideally some advanced tech skills.
Whilst this is an analyst level role, it will pay a £100-150k year-one total comp package. The hire will also receive a generous sign-on bonus.
