Job Description
We are working exclusively with an extremely exciting, fast growth investment firm, helping them secure an Accounts Assistant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented junior professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging technology to optimize accounting processes.
On a day-to-day basis, this position with support across accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing while supporting month-end and year-end financial reconciliations, reporting, and ledger maintenance. You will develop skills across coding languages (Python, SQL, and VBA) to continuously help to automate financial workflows, and enhance data management. In doing this, you will work closely with finance and technology teams to implement automation tools for accounting and reporting functions and assist in developing dashboards to enhance operational efficiency.
We are seeking detail-oriented candidates with 1–3 years of experience who thrive in fast-paced, technology-driven environments. Candidates will ideally have worked within a financial services firm and knowledge of the Crypto markets is important. It is important that candidates have used Xero and / or Payhawk.
The team have a flexible budget (£35k - £45k) and will offer a considerable uplift in base for the right candidate (20-30%+ increase) plus extremely generous bonus. They offer excellent progression and can offer full study support.
