A hybrid technical role covering 1st and 2nd line support, data analysis, and the development of AI-powered and automated solutions.
- 1st Line Support
- Act as the first point of contact for IT issues.
- Diagnose basic hardware, software, and access issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 tools including Teams and Outlook.
- Administer AD/Entra ID accounts and permissions.
- Support servers, networking, and enterprise systems.
- Produce root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Extract, clean, and analyse data from systems.
- Develop reporting dashboards in Power BI.
- Identify data quality issues and improvements.
- Assist staff in using MS Copilot and internal AI tools.
- Guide safe and responsible AI use.
- Troubleshoot AI tool output and integrations.
- Build & maintain simple automations using Power Automate or scripts.
- Automate repetitive IT tasks.
- Document automations and ensure knowledge transfer.
Ability to translate technical concepts into simple language.
Basic PowerShell or Python scripting.
SQL querying for data extraction.
This is a hybrid based 3 days a week in our Nottingham office, NG2, with two days working from home.
