The Multi Skilled Technician will be working in a fast-paced environment on a continental shift pattern and be tasked with working closely with the Engineering and Operational teams focusing on short and long-term issues to achieve optimum plant performance. Key Accountabilities: Work with Maintenance Planner to ensure effective maintenance is planned and executed. Support and coach operators. Conducting reactive & preventative maintenance. IL6S work process systems – PM Pillar & Kaizens, Tags, OPL’s, 5S etc. Training and coaching operators – PM-AM Knowledge Transfer. Good Manufacturing Practices. Lead and Support Breakdown Analysis. SAP and other systems. Support Root Cause Analysis. Analyse data to implement loss reduction projects and other improvements. Identify and order replacement parts. Key Requirements: A solid understanding and demonstrated practical application of problem-solving techniques coupled with strong analytical skills. Knowledge, understanding and experience of IL6S (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma) work processes. A good understanding and proven practical application of problem-solving techniques coupled with strong analytical skills. Familiar with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) – SAP PM Experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to peers, operational staff and engineering management. A passion for excellence and the tenacity to deliver in a challenging environment. Experience of process and packaging plant in food manufacturing is advantageous but not a fixed requirement.
