You support sourcing for spend categories, including sourcing execution and stakeholder management, to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. You also work closely with local business and global spend category teams to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization.
How you will contribute
- Leads the Strategy build and execution of key supplier relationships programs across the spend area, developing a holistic supplier sourcing strategy.
- Leads the spend area specific strategic plans in alignment with the regions & categories, including resource plans, to deliver productivity and financial KPIs of the spend area.
- Minimizes operational risk by partnering closely with the Quality team to ensure strategic suppliers’ footprint is compliant with all MDLZ quality policies (specifications approvals, sites audited, and material approved).
Supplier Performance Excellence Management:
• Frequent Business Reviews with Key Vendors.
• Coordinate and monitor Service Level performance.
• Selecting, building, and maintaining long-term relationships with the supplier network.
Conduct Bid/Tender Events:
• Prepare and plan regional bid events and support global bid events & negotiations.
• Apply advanced LES cost models and comply with MDLZ Tender governance.
• Coordinate contract implementation and assure smooth contract execution.
• Drives Make-vs-Buy initiatives across the spend area being managed.
Lead the risk management process of commodity and index exposed ingredients:
• Assure that all commodity/index exposed RAWs are risk managed by MDLZ.
• Manage and enhance cost models.
• Engage and align coverage strategies frequently with CPRM & FI within the PNOC process.
Assure MDLZ Policy, Supplier Quality, Food Safety, and Audit compliance:
• Assure quality and food safety processes are being followed.
• Take ownership and contribute successfully to Regional Audit inspections.
• Apply a zero tolerance approach on MDLZ policy violations.
Support Operations Management:
• Engage closely in the supply risk process and develop/implement mitigation plans.
• Collaborate closely with Ops. Teams and act as relationship owner towards suppliers.
• Assure that RSMLT is informed appropriately about supply risks and mitigation plans.
• Manage daily business and ad-hoc requests for designated sub-spend area.
Internal Stakeholder Management:
• Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders from R&D, CPRM, QA, Plant Network, Ops. Team, Compliance, and Finance.
• Collaborate with global, regional, and local procurement teams.
• Engage and foster the MDLZ culture and diversity approach.

- This is a Regional Role with multiple interactions expected with senior stakeholders across the MEU region (across categories and business areas). The person needs to be a communicator with strong influencing skills at the leadership level.

Career Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, or Business Administration, MA preferred.
- Functional competency in External Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, P&L Management, R&D, Supply Planning, and Sourcing (preferred).
The role can be based in Bournville or Warsaw.
