Monday Matters Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a prestigious automotive dealership in the Bromley area to recruit an experienced and driven Service Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing site undergoing significant expansion, creating the need for a strong leader to take the service department to the next level.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy service department, leading a team of 18 staff including service advisors, technicians, and support personnel. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving performance, and ensuring operational excellence in line with the brand’s premium standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 18 to achieve departmental targets
- Oversee workshop efficiency, productivity, and quality control
- Ensure an outstanding customer journey from booking through to vehicle handover
- Monitor KPIs, including labour sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the Aftersales Manager to support strategic growth plans
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and health & safety regulations
- Drive continuous improvement across processes and team performance
About You:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or Senior Aftersales professional within a dealership environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Commercially aware with a track record of delivering results
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a fast-paced operation
